MRS. PETER H. PARKER
(Dec. 29, 1916)
Addie A. Pearsall, wife of Peter H. Parker, died at her residence on Albany street shortly after 7 o'clock Thursday morning, after an illness from pneumonia of less than a week's duration.
Mrs. Parker was born in Coventryville, November 11, 1848. Her parents were Charles and Jane Watrous Pearsall, prominent people of the town and county. Her marriage to Mr. Parker occurred September 8, 1868, and many happy years were spent in Coventryville and this village where they moved in October, 1914. In the two places Mrs. Parker's strong character and lovely disposition made her the center of a large circle of friends. During her lifetime she took an active interest in religious and social life and her death will be most sincerely mourned by the many who appreciated her sterling character. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Coventryville.
Beside her husband, Mrs. Parker is survived by one son, Charles J. Parker of Binghamton, and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Allen, Barbara and Catherine Parker.
The funeral will be held at the house Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Dr. Inman L. Willcox officiating. Interment will be made in the VanWagenen cemetery.
