Adelbert H. Henrdickson
(1937)

   Adelbert H. Hendrickson, aged 67 years, a former resident of Oxford, died Tuesday, March 23, at his home in Herkimer after an illness of two months.

   He was born in Smithville Flats, July 12, 1869, the son of the late James and Eliza Hendrickson, and came to Oxford with his family when he was 13 years old.

    On March 4, 1889, he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Potter of Oxford.  Mrs. Hendrickson died August 18, 1934, in Herkimer.

   Mr. Hendrickson was a mason and contractor by trade.  The family moved to Norwich in 1905, residing there eight years, going from there to Herkimer.

   He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Belle Hendrickson; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Berdanier of Oneida, Mrs. Grace Caldwell and Mrs. Ruth Hall of Herkimer.  Five brothers and four sisters, and several grandchildren also survive.

   The body will be brought to Oxford Friday and the funeral held from the home of his sister, Mrs. A. F. Smith on State street, at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Leon Bouton officiating.  Burial will be made in Riverview.
