OBITUARY

Mrs. Katherine J. Bosworth

   Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine J. Bosworth, whose death occurred at the residence at 30 Henry street Saturday morning was held from the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.  Rev. J. H. MacConnell, a former pastor of the First Congregational church here but now of Schoharie will officiate.  Burial was made in the family plot at Mt. Hope cemetery.

   Deceased was the widow of the late Arthur W. Bosworth who death occurred in 1912.  The late Mrs. Bosworth was born in Oxford, June 17, 1853 but had been a resident of Norwich for the past 50 years.  Her demise followed a period of failing health that lasted for three years and the end was most unexpected.



   An active member of the First Congregational church and deeply interested in all civic enterprises she leaves a wide circle of friends who will regret her passing.  There survives one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Bryan of Sherburne; one grandson, Francis Bosworth Bryan, also of Sherburne and one niece, Mrs. Beryl Bosworth Vermilye.  Another daughter of Mrs. Bosworth, Frances V. Bosworth, died in 1903.
