Another Prominent Citizen Passed Away Sunday After a Brief Illness
Don Delos Corbin, aged 70 years, died at his home on Chenango street at 4 o'clock Sunday morning, after an illness of only a few days. Heart disease was the immediate cause of death.

On December 28, 1870, he married Mary M. Coville, daughter of J. Addison Coville of Preston, whose death occurred in this village March 21, 1904.
Up to the year 1896, Mr. and Mrs. Corbin were engaged in farming, residing on the old homestead at East McDonough. In March of that year, they removed to this village. For a number of years, Mr. Corbin was engaged in the coal business. The only public positions he ever held were railroad commissioner for the town of McDonough and the office of one of the assessors for this town.
