John J. Goff

   John J. Goff, formerly of Brooklyn, died at his home, at Greene, Chenango county, N. Y., on December 20, aged eighty four.  He was a merchant in that city.  He was born in London, England, but passed most of his life in this country.  His father, John Goff, who brought his family here in 1842, had been a seaman with Admiral Nelson on board the Victory at the battle of Trafalgar.
