Cecil L. Whitmore

   Cecil L. Whitmore, aged 34 years, died at his home in Norwich Saturday morning, Sept. 15.  Born in DeRuyter, he had made his residence there and in McDonough until about three years ago when he took up his residence in Norwich.

   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Gerald Watkins officiating.  The remains were brought to Oxford for burial.

   Surviving the deceased in addition to his widow, are two children, Francis and Frank, five brothers, Allie of Weedsport, Clarence of Elmira, Pearl of Leonardsville, Adelbert and Wardner of Norwich and two sisters, Mrs. Claud Clark and Mrs. Pansy Lawton of Norwich.
