OBITUARY

Mrs. John S. Robbins

   Caroline R. Bunnell, wife of John S. Robbins died at the home of her son George on East Main street, Wednesday afternoon.  Mrs. Robbins has been ill for several months.

   She was born at Guilford, N. Y. July 31, 1855, and was the daughter of Charles and Sally Bunnell.  On Jan. 20, 1886, she united in marriage to John S. Robbins at Cooperstown.  For a number of years she resided at Sidney Center and Unadilla, having moved to Norwich about 20 years ago.

   She is survived by her husband, two sons, Geo. W. and Frank B. of this city, a sister, Mrs. Jane Gibson of Cumberland, Wisconsin, and four grandchildren Ralph, Myrtle, George C. and Alma, of Norwich.

   Funeral will be held from the home of her son George 167 E. Main street Friday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. W. A. Ashmore officiating.  Burial will be made at Oxford.
