Andrew Frank Keating

   Frank Keating died at the Chenango Memorial hospital in Norwich, Monday, June 2 after a brief illness of pneumonia, aged 71 years.

   Mr. Keating was born in Oxford February 5, 1859.  He was the eldest son of James and Mary Keating.  He was married to Katherine Treavor in 1894.  She died in 1907.  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Keating of West New York, N. J., a sister, Julia, and a brother, John P., of Utica, besides nine nephews and two grandchildren.

   He worked for the Ontario & Western railroad about forty years and for the last twenty-four years as watchman at Lyon Brook bridge.

   The funeral was held from St. Joseph's church Wednesday morning with Father Stapleton celebrating requiem high mass.  Interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery.
